Like most schools, Parkland Elementary has a Parent Advisory Council (P.A.C.). The role of the P.A.C. is to provide input to the principal on the operation of the school and to support the school through volunteering, fund raising and other activities.
Over the last several years, our school has had an active P.A.C. group. They have had much success in fund raising to support the different needs of the school.
The P.A.C. meets once a month, first Thursday of the month, unless otherwise notified, in the school library starting at 6:30 PM. The council always welcome new members, including those who do not wish to play an active role in their activities. The dates and times of the meetings are always noted in the school newsletter.
If you wish further information, please do not hesitate to phone the principal. |
